All our travel programmes include, at no additional cost, the comprehensive Universal Assistance Maximum Receptivo International Travel Assistance Insurance, backed by the Zurich Group.
This comprehensive policy has been designed to provide complete protection throughout your journey in Chile. With international medical cover of up to USD 300,000 for accidents and illness, worldwide assistance available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and the support of one of the world’s leading travel assistance networks, our guests can enjoy their experience with the confidence of knowing they are protected from the moment they arrive until the day they return home.
In addition to extensive medical assistance, the policy includes cover for pre-existing medical conditions, prescription medication, emergency dental treatment, recreational sports, medical repatriation, legal assistance, hotel expenses during medical recovery, travel and accommodation for a close family member, assistance in the event of lost travel documents, telemedicine services, flight delay benefits, and access to a comprehensive international medical coordination network, ensuring fast, professional support whenever it is needed.
This benefit forms part of the PlanV® Travel Chile quality standard and is included in the price of all our travel programmes at no additional cost, reinforcing our ongoing commitment to safety, international support and the peace of mind of every guest who chooses to discover Chile with us.
Legal Booking Protection
Your travel programme, including Travel Insurance, is supported by two essential legal documents: the Tourism Services Agreement, which sets out in detail the programme booked, the services included, together with the applicable terms and conditions, and the Electronic Tax Invoice, issued in accordance with Chilean law and registered with the Chilean Internal Revenue Service (Servicio de Impuestos Internos – SII), providing legal proof of payment and compliance with Chilean tax regulations.

Protected Payment Channels
PlanV®, the trading brand of Inversiones y Turismo PlanV SpA, accepts payments exclusively through its corporate bank account at BancoEstado de Chile or via Transbank Webpay, Chile’s leading electronic payment platform. PlanV® never uses personal bank accounts or third-party intermediaries to receive customer payments.
International Bank Transfer
Payments may be made by international bank transfer to the corporate account of Inversiones y Turismo PlanV SpA, using the international SWIFT banking network, which ensures the secure identification and full traceability of every transaction.
For security and fraud prevention, our complete corporate bank account details are provided exclusively within the Travel Agreement.
Credit Card Payments
Credit card payments are accepted exclusively through secure payment links issued for PlanV® via Transbank Webpay, Chile’s leading electronic payment platform. Transbank Webpay processes transactions from the world’s leading credit and debit card networks, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club and other authorised brands, in accordance with the highest international security standards for electronic payments.
Where a travel programme is quoted in a foreign currency, the payment will be charged in Chilean Pesos (CLP) using the official exchange rate published by the Central Bank of Chile on the date the payment link is issued. The applicable exchange rate will always be provided to the traveller before payment is made.
Transaction Security
- All payments are received exclusively by Inversiones y Turismo PlanV SpA.
- We never request payments to personal bank accounts.
- We do not accept cryptocurrencies or unauthorised payment methods.
- Every payment request is sent exclusively through our official communication channels and includes the corresponding Booking Reference.
For security and fraud prevention, PlanV® Travel Chile will never change its corporate bank account details by means of a simple email. Any exceptional change will be communicated exclusively through our official communication channels and will require the traveller’s explicit confirmation before any payment is made.
Transfer Costs
Travellers are responsible only for any charges applied by their own bank.
The receiving fee charged by BancoEstado de Chile is paid by PlanV® Travel Chile and is already included in the programme price.
Likewise, all fees associated with credit card payments processed through Transbank Webpay are included in the published programme price and will not be charged separately.
